PUANGA CELEBRATION

Join us in the Whanganui region to celebrate Puanga; the Whanganui Matariki Celebrations.

Today we welcome the Whanganui Community and the world to join with us and experience Maori life. With a range of key events from the Dawn Puanga Blessing and launch on the maunga Ruapehu and by the Whanganui awa at Putiki; creating artworks around Puanga kaupapa, art exhibition, fashion show, Cosmodome (astral navigation) and traditional kai evening to name but a few.
