Hosted by Ngāti Rangi this annual Puanga wānanga and Maunga karakia is an opportunity for the Iwi to come together to wānanga, acknowledge and celebrate Maunga Koro Ruapehu, remember loved ones, and look forward to the time ahead.

Maunga Karakia will be held in the Tūroa Snow Area on Monday 10th June, karakia at daybreak. The buses will leave from Dempseys bus depot in Raetihi at 4:45am and will depart Christie Park, Ohakune at  5am. 

Due to unprecedented interest, Ngāti Rangi are unable to accept any more registrations.
