Treaty Talks with Ken Mair - The Sale of Whanganui 1848

  • Alexander Library 1 Pukenamu Drive Whanganui, Manawatū-Whanganui, 4500 New Zealand (map)

The rising of Puanga is a time of reflection. This year as we reflect on Te Tiriti o Waitangi and what effect it has on our community, the Alexander Library Te Rerenga Mai o Te Kāuru warmly invites you to our Treaty Talks. Four local iwi leaders will talk about the impact of Te Tiriti o Waitangi from different perspectives, ranging from historical to contemporary. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about iwi concerns and speak to today’s iwi leaders.
